This was the first in a series of stories detailing problems at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital on St. Croix. I coordinated the coverage, did a significant portion of the interviews and writing, including the detailed timeline. This summer we won second place in the breaking news category of the Society of Professional Journalists Sunshine State Chapter awards.
