Literary Lens

This is such an exciting project, simply because it’s all about inspiration. I live and work in the historic downtown Christiansted on the island of St. Croix and everywhere I look there is something to uncover. Every day I walk past historic ruins, renovated buildings, symbols that connect the past to the present and I imagine with all those who came before, all the memories lost to time. Through the Literary Lens blog, I plan to document my creative process as I photograph and write about all I see. I hope one day to compile it all into themed books where I dive even deeper into the histories of these buildings and everything that makes a town a town.
